About Priority Collies
Priority Collies began in 1996, with the purchase of
a Tri Rough Female from long time Collie Breeder,
Ricky Sheets (Mistymoor Collies).
In 1998, I purchased another female puppy,
Priority's Tiffany Glass from Ricky, who would
then turn out to be the foundation for Priority
Collies.
I am a small breeding kennel in the Metro-Detroit,
Michigan area.  I do not keep large numbers of dogs,
and thus, am very selective when it comes to my
breeding program.
My breeding program currently consists of lines that
go back to and include; West Point Collies (Lee
Patten) and the former Mistymoor Collies (Ricky
Sheets).  Without these two wonderful women in
my life, I would not be where I am today.  Thanks
to Lee Patten's guidance and mentoring I continue
to grow with knowledge and experience.
In my breeding program, I breed for quality not
quantity, and am breeding for correct type,
temperament, and healthy dogs.  The dogs which I
keep are shown in conformation.
The puppies that have gone to pet homes are truly a
part of the family.  You can not help but to be loved
by a collie.
I am an active member of The Greater Brighton
Collie Club and The Collie Club of America.
